GymSets Studio Oak Reformer Pilates Machine

The machine doesn’t glide and gets stuck going over the join need to return but not had any luck with them organising it. Very disappointed as it’s basically unusable

I teach Reformer in different studios and really wanted my own machine to use for personal practice and if it was any good private 1-1's. I didn't want to spend a fortune, and it needed to fold up. Having used a well known folding brand in one studio I was really disappointed with it - so wasn't sure what this would be like for the price. Decided after reading the reviews to risk it. Aside from a terrible delivery experience, the machine itself is absoutely perfect for what I want and need. It kicks ass over the brand I allude to above and is going to be brilliant both for my own practice and 1-1's. Gym Set's have been great in resolving the delivery issue and I can't fault them. I have found the GymSets Oak Reformer Pilates Machine to be a standout, near studio-grade piece of equipment that brings both exceptional performance and a beautiful, timeless aesthetic to a homeg gym or boutique studio. Build quality is based on a well finished rigid solid oak frame, When it was used it offered a rock-steady stability that resisted any obvious flexing even during some dynamic, high-energy workouts. Noise wise its construction provides an ultra-smooth and quiet ride, which is delivered courtesy of thickened stainless-steel rails, a silent wheel system, and the high-performance German steel springs. It also comes well-equipped with a complete accessory suite, including a jump board and sitting box, making it highly versatile for everything from gentle rehabilitation to runners strength which is my go too or general strength and conditioning work should you choose. Currently if I use this 2 times a week it will pay for itself in around 6 weeks compared to the price point of Reformer Pilates classes in my area….. No brainer for me.

Would I recommend this kit, in a heartbeat as it is as advertised, has very strong price point at the moment and backed up by sturdy reinforced plywood wood crate packaging and despatched quickly depending on the chosen level and fulfilled with an excellent delivery service. 👍🏻

I was really hesitant about purchasing this as it seemed too good to be true. I'd been searching for a reformer for a while and had thought I would need to spend thousands to get a decent bit of kit. On reading the reviews of this one I got more nervous and very nearly didn't order! I ultimately decided to take a risk, and my goodness I'm so glad I did! THIS IS AN AMAZING REFORMER! It is every bit as sturdy and comfortable as studio reformers I have used. It's solid wood, very stylish and the quality is fantastic- it looks and feels expensive.
The instructions are sparse, but it was really easy to work out by looking at online pictures. The delivery was quick, and the kit was really well packaged (it was actually quite difficult to open as the box it was supplied in was solid!)
I have used it every day since purchasing and still can't believe the value for money!
